Angus (ON 2008) and Henry Perks (ON 2010) are taking on a major challenge this summer. They are planning to traverse roughly one third of the World in the name of charity and adventure by taking part in the the 2011 Mongol Rally.
From the fertile fields of Europe to the barren autonomous regions of the Gobi desert they aim to take on a route less travelled. This will encompass 10,000 miles, 3 deserts, 5 mountain ranges and roughly 19 countries.
Not content with ‘just participating’ the entrepid duo have chosen to drive an ambulance, which they will donate to the Mongolian Government at the end of their trip as they are in dire need of modern day front line ambulances. Along the way the lads will also raise money for Help For Heroes and Christina Nobel Childrens’ Foundation.
