Remembrance Day 2011 at Nottingham High School
An important reminder of the sacrifice and courage of the old boys of Nottingham High School, and others, who fought for our way of life.
The Headmaster talked about the school during WW2, and interspersed it with stories of the fallen. A two minute silence was observed by all the staff and boys and The Last Post played in the quad.
Wreaths were laid by the School Captain and representatives from the Old Nottinghamians’ Society and the Governing Body on the steps of the War Memorial in the school grounds. Very moving.
