Welcome to the Old Nottinghamians’ Blog
The title ‘Old Nottinghamian’ is granted to all former members of staff and pupils of Nottingham High School (UK) and they are entitled to use the post-nominal letters – ON
The Old Nottinghamian community numbers more than 10,000 – among them scientists, Olympians, politicians, charity workers, novelists, actors, civic leaders and entrepreneurs.
There are ONs living and working all over the globe, as far away as Australia and Peru or as close to the School as Nottingham City Centre. For nearly 500 years Old Nottinghamians have been making a difference to the world we live in today.
The Old Nottinghamians’ Society has been in continuous existence for over 100 years. Its origins date back to 1897, when it was known as the NHS Dinner Committee and between 1902-1961 the Nottingham High School Old Boys’ Society.
